BLUE LOCK CHAPTER 36: RIGHT HERE
BLUE LOCK CHAPTER 36 – A DETAILED BREAKDOWN:
RIGHT HERE
One last play. Four players. Everything on the line.
Blue Lock Chapter 36 doesn’t ease you in. It throws you into the fire from the first panel and doesn’t let go until the final page pulls the rug from under your feet.
THE LAST PLAY Everyone Knows What’s at Stake
The field erupts with one shared understanding.
“This play is our last shot!!”
Team Z surges forward. Team V scrambles back.
“If we score, we win!! If we stop him, we win!!”
Two teams. One ball. No second chances.
ISAGI SEES IT ALL The Field Opens Up in His Mind
While chaos swirls around him, Isagi is still.
“I can see it… I can feel it!!”
He counts the bodies rushing forward with him.
“Are me and three others!!!”
Bachira. Kunigami. Chigiri. Four players charging toward glory, or elimination.
And Isagi already knows what each of them can do.
“I can smell a goal from these three!!”
THE PLAN TAKES SHAPE Bachira Leads the Charge
Isagi makes the call instantly.
“Go, Bachira! Use your dribbling power… to break through the enemy line!!”
Bachira does exactly that, weaving, pressing, forcing defenders to react.
But Team V is ready. They’re willing to take a foul to kill the counter.
“They’re ready to get a foul to stop us!”
So the play adapts. Bachira shifts. Chigiri’s legs become the new weapon.
“Now we’ll break through… with Chigiri’s legs!!”
THE WALLS CLOSE IN Three on One. Not Enough.
Chigiri pushes hard but the defense collapses around him.
“I can’t win a three on one fight… They were ready for me!”
Defenders swarm. More players pile in.
“Get more guys on him!!”
Then, Isagi’s name rings out from two directions at once.
“Chi-giri!! Isagi!!”
“You always end up… in the right spot!!”
THE DECOY MOVE Isagi Does the Unexpected
The defense expected the two man push on the left.
That’s exactly what Isagi wanted them to think.
“Isagi… used me as a decoy to gather their defense on the left side… and he’s planning on going by himself?!!”
He pivots to the center. Alone. With 45 meters between him and the goal.
“I can make it!! It’s all like I predicted!!”
KUON’S MOMENT A Foul That Means Everything
Then something shifts. The chapter slows down and steps inside Kuon’s head.
“In that moment… what caused my body to move… what made me commit that foul…”
It wasn’t tactical. It wasn’t calculated.
“Wasn’t really a desire to save Team Z…”
Something deeper moved him. Something he saw in these players.
“Rather than win by doing nothing… I felt like there was something more important right in front of me…”
He remembers a version of himself from before. A softer version. A voice asks:
“Isn’t this enough?”
And his answer, the only answer Blue Lock allows, echoes across the page:
“The kind of soccer you wanted to believe in back then… is right here… in Blue Lock!!”
THE FIRE IGNITES No One Is Standing Still
Kuon sees Team Z risking everything. And it breaks something open in him.
“After seeing Team Z… risking their lives to win… there’s no way that I… can just stand by and do nothing!!!”
“GOO!!!”
One word. Pure will. No strategy. Just a man who cannot watch from the sidelines anymore.
35 METERS OUT Two vs. Two. Then the Keeper.
The math becomes simple and terrifying.
“Only two on defense!! 35 meters to the goal!!”
Isagi runs the equation in real time.
“If we can break through the two guys on defense… only the goalie will be left!!”
“Kunigami and I… will smash them!!”
ZANTETSU APPEARS Speed That Breaks the Prediction
Then, a name. A blur. A moment Isagi didn’t see coming.
“Zantetsu?! His speed exceeded my prediction?!”
Zantetsu lunges. The ball breaks loose. Kunigami fights for it, and knocks it out.
“Kunigami hit it out!! They lost the ball!!”
Everything is slipping.
RAICHI SAVES IT The Play That Refuses to Die
Out of nowhere, Raichi.
“How much endurance does he have?!”
He launches himself at the ball, keeping it alive with everything he has left.
“Nice save, Raichi!!”
And before he’s even caught his breath, he shoves the responsibility onto the next man standing.
“I told you to score… I’ll kill you… Now go do it!!!”
BACHIRA HAS THE BALL One More Chance
“BACHIRA!!!!”
Everyone is screaming for it. Defenders are collapsing. Formation is breaking.
But in the middle of all of it, Isagi sees the play before it happens.
“No… I can see it!!!”
THE PERFECT POSITION Isagi Maps the Goal
His mind draws the field like a diagram.
The routes. The defenders. The gaps.
“19 meters to the left of the goal… that’s the spot!!!”
“As long as I get in position… I can have a one on one showdown with the goalie!!”
One position. One pass. One shot. Team Z wins.
“We can win!!!”
THE CALL Feel Me, Bachira
Isagi doesn’t shout tactics. He doesn’t signal. He just believes.
“You can tell, right?!!”
“Feel… me!!!”
Two words. An entire relationship between two players compressed into a single moment.
THE PASS ARRIVES Everything Isagi Predicted
“I believe in you, Isagi… this last attack… is riding on you.”
The ball comes exactly where he said it would.
“Here it comes!!! The pass I predicted!!”
“You’re the best, Bachira…”
He’s already planning the trap. Already seeing the one on one with the keeper. Already feeling the win.
“Team Z will…”
THE CHAPTER’S LAST WORD One Name. Everything Gone.
And then, silence.
Not a save. Not a block.
Just a single name that lands like a freight train.
“Nagi?!”
He’s there. Right there. In the exact spot Isagi predicted. On the same page. With the same read.
“…Seem to be on the same page.”
YOICHI ISAGI VS. SEISHIRO NAGI
And Isagi feels it before he understands it.
“The goal scent… vanished?!!”
Everything he built. Every calculation. Every perfect prediction.
Gone. In one word.
Nagi.
Continue to Chapter 37 → The goal scent has vanished. Nagi is standing in Isagi’s spot. What happens when two players read the game the same way, but only one can score?
